What are the Customer Club Terms & Conditions?

CUSTOMER CLUB TERMS AND CONDITIONS

WHAT ARE THE SIGN UP DISCOUNT TERMS & CONDITIONS?
You will receive your discount code when you have verified your membership in the mail you receive within one hour after registration. The discount does not apply to already reduced items, gift cards or J.LINDEBERG products as well as on already purchased orders. The discount can only be used to purchase items online and can not be combined with other promotions or discounts.

The discount is only applicable to orders above 50 Euro / 50 GBP, excluding already reduced items.

The discount is valid for 2 months from issuance of the code. The discount will be distributed proportionally to all items in the order covered by the campaign. The discount does not apply to delivery costs. If you return your items, the calculated price will be refunded but the discount will not be distributed among the other items in your order. This means you will lose the discount, on the items, you returned.

WHAT ARE THE CUSTOMER CLUB TERMS & CONDITIONS?
Membership of a BESTSELLER customer club is free of charge and non-binding, and you can unsubscribe at any time. You have to be 18 years or older in order to join a BESTSELLER customer club. If you are under 18 years of age, you can join a BESTSELLER customer club by sending a signed confirmation from a parent or legal guardian to [email protected]

By signing up to a BESTSELLER customer club you accept that BESTSELLER A/S (Fredskovvej 5, 7330 Brande, Denmark, VAT 88216512), BESTSELLER Handels B.V. (Vijzelstraat 68-78 1017 HL Amsterdam, The Nederlands, VAT 59896604) and VILA A/S (Stilling Kirkevej 10, Stilling, 8660 Skanderborg, Denmark, VAT 67756819) (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “BESTSELLER Companies”) can send you marketing via email, text messages, MMS, push notifications, social media or post, regarding:

• Clothes, bags, shoes, accessories, fashion items, magazines, design and the like marketed by the BESTSELLER Companies under our various brands in the BESTSELLER online shop, the BESTSELLER brands’ online shops and in BESTSELLER’s stores.

• Offers, sale, competitions and events as well as other marketing initiatives from the BESTSELLER online shop and stores own by the BESTSELLER Companies or by partners.

• Information on the BESTSELLER Companies and/or other companies in the BESTSELLER organization which market and sell clothes, bags, shoes, accessories, fashion items, magazines, design etc.
• Information about goods you have added to your wish list in MY ACCOUNT or placed in your online shopping bag.

You furthermore accept that this consent can be used to ask you to update your consent to include other relevant products, business partners or ways of communication.

You can unsubscribe from a BESTSELLER customer club by using the option stated in the materials sent to you by the BESTSELLER Companies or by submitting a request form which can be found here. Furthermore you can withdraw your consent to receive marketing at any time by contacting the BESTSELLER Companies [email protected]

YOUR PERSONAL DATA
The BESTSELLER Companies are joint data controllers with respect to the customer club data.

Your personal data will be processed in accordance with BESTSELLER’s general privacy policy which can be found here.

1. Why do we use your personal data?
We will use your personal data to manage the customer clubs and to send you marketing such as campaigns, information about new styles, invitations etc. To optimize your shopping experience we strive to send you marketing which match your interests and to send you customized newsletters, e.g. a birthday greeting.

2. What type of personal data do we process?
We will process the information you submit to us when you sign up to a BESTSELLER customer club and information submitted by you changing your profile. This includes i.a. your name, email, age and your phone number if you chose to submit such information.

We will also process information about your orders or other activities on our online shops, including for example items in your online shopping bag and items on your MY ACCOUNT wish list. We will collect this information from BESTSELLER Handels B.V. who is responsible for our online shops.

Furthermore we will analyse your activity when you receive our newsletters.

3. On what legal ground do we process your personal data?
The processing of your personal data is based on your consent when you sign up to our customer clubs.

You can withdraw your consent at any time. Furthermore you can object to your data being processed for direct marketing purposes. Please contact the BESTSELLER Companies on [email protected]

In such case, the BESTSELLER Companies will not send you any further marketing or other information based on your consent.

4. Our use of data processors
We share your personal data with our external business partners (data processors) who will process personal data on our behalf, e.g. by sending out our newsletters to you or by storing your personal data.

The following data processor(s) may handle and/or store your personal data in countries outside of the EU/EEA:

• Salesforce.com, US (The data transfer is safeguarded by the EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses)

5. How long do we store your personal data?
Your personal data will be deleted when we no longer need it and when we do not have to store the data for regulatory reasons.

If you resign from a BESTSELLER customer club all personal data which we do not have to store for regulatory reasons will automatically be deleted.

6. Your rights
As a data subject you have certain rights, e.g. a right to access the personal data that we register about you. You can read more about your rights including your right to raise a complaint here.
