Customer Club Terms & Conditions
WHAT ARE THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE SIGN UP DISCOUNT?
The discount code can only be used in the web shop unless otherwise stated in your confirmation email, and requires a minimum purchase of EUR 50/GBP 50 (already discounted items not included). The discount cannot be used with other promotions, discounted items, discounts, gift certificates or J. LINDEBERG products. The code cannot be applied to already concluded orders. The discount code is valid for 2 months from the date of issue of the discount code. The discount is distributed proportionally to all goods in the order, covered by the promotion. As such, in case of return, you will be refunded the calculated price (original price minus the amount of the discount). This means that when you return the item, you will lose the discount on the goods you have returned.
Some brands and/or countries may have different conditions. These will appear on the website.
WHAT ARE THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE CUSTOMER CLUB?
These terms apply to all BESTSELLER customer clubs, including our general BESTSELLER customer club and our brand specific customer clubs.
Membership of a BESTSELLER customer club is free and non-binding, and you can unsubscribe at any time. You must be at least 16 years of age to be a member of a BESTSELLER customer club. If you are under the age of 16, you can sign up for a BESTSELLER customer club by sending a signed confirmation from a parent or guardian to firstname.lastname@example.org.
By registering, you agree that BESTSELLER A/S (Fredskovvej 5, 7330 Brande, Denmark, CVR 88216512), BESTSELLER Handels B.V. (Sint Jorissteeg 2, 1012 XV Amsterdam, Holland, CVR 59896604) and VILA A/S (Stilling Kirkevej 10, Stilling, 8660 Skanderborg, Denmark. CVR 67756819) (hereafter referred to as “BESTSELLER Companies”) may send you marketing material.
If you have registered with BESTSELLER's general customer club via www.shop.bestseller.com, your consent includes marketing materials from all brands that are marketed on our online shop.
If you have signed up for a brand-specific customer club, your consent includes marketing materials from those of the following brands and their sub-brands, that you have selected in connection with your registration or which you later selected via your customer club profile: VERO MODA, JACK & JONES, ONLY, ONLY & SONS, SELECTED, NOISY MAY, Y.A.S, PIECES, JUNAROSE, MAMALICIOUS, NAME IT, OBJECT COLLECTORS ITEM, VILA CLOTHES.
Our marketing materials are sent via email, SMS, MMS, mail and social media such as Facebook, Instagram, etc. and relate to:
- Clothes, shoes, bags, accessories, magazines, designs and the like
- Offers, sales, competitions, as well as events and other marketing initiatives from BESTSELLER’s online shops and stores or our partner stores.
- Information about items you have added to your wish list via your BESTSELLER online shop customer account or placed in your online shopping cart.
You further agree that this consent may be used to send requests for you to update your consent to include other relevant products, brands, business partners or communications channels.
You may unsubscribe from a BESTSELLER customer club at any time and revoke your consent to receive marketing material by following the instructions in the messages we have sent to you by contacting us at
YOUR PERSONAL DATA
The BESTSELLER Companies are joint controllers in relation to personal data processed by BESTSELLER Customer Clubs.
1. What is your information used for?
We use your personal information to manage the customer clubs and send you marketing materials, including promotions, news, invitations, etc.
In order to optimise your shopping experience, we strive to send you marketing materials that match your interests and to send you customised newsletters, such as birthday greetings.
2. What information do we process about you?
We process the information you provide us in connection with your registration for a BESTSELLER customer club and when you update your profile. This will include your name, email, and age, as well as your mobile number if you choose to provide it.
We also collect information about your purchases and other activities on our online shops, including items in your shopping cart or items on your wish list. We collect this information from BESTSELLER Handels B.V., which is responsible for our online shops.
In addition, we measure your activity in connection with the receipt of our newsletters.
3. On what basis do we collect your personal information?
The collection of your personal data is based on your consent when you sign up for a customer club.
You may withdraw your consent at any time, or object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes. To do so, you can contact the BESTSELLER Companies at email@example.com. If you do that, BESTSELLER will no longer send you marketing materials or other information based on your consent.
4. Our use of data processors
Your personal data may be transferred to external partners (data processors) who process the information on our behalf - for example, by posting our newsletters to you, or by storing your personal data.
The following data processor(s) can handle and/or store your personal data in countries outside the EU/EEA:
- Salesforce.com, USA (the data transfer is safeguarded by EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses)
- Facebook, Inc., USA (the data transfer is safeguarded by EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses)
- Google, Inc., USA (the data transfer is safeguarded by EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses)
5. How long do we keep your personal data?
Your personal data will be deleted when we no longer need it, and when we are no longer required to keep it by law.
If you opt out of a BESTSELLER customer club, we will automatically delete all information that we are no longer required to keep it by law.
6. Your rights and remedies, etc.
As a data subject, you have certain rights, including the right to access the information we have registered about you.
